Everyone is welcome and invited to participate in HumanKind, regardless of race, ethnicity, cultural norms, experience, age, language or dialect, socioeconomic status, family dynamics, educational or career aspirations, background, religious or political affiliations, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical appearance or attire, and physical or mental abilities or health.

Why should I participate?

HumanKind is founded on the belief that everyone has an important story worth sharing. You have an important story worth sharing.

Each human is both relatable and remarkable. By sharing your own perspective, you can gain insight into who you are now, where you are at in your life, and the major experiences that hav gotten you there and shaped your perspective. By reading other people’s perspectives, we can find similarities and contact points across differences, as well as learn to appreciate and respect different ways of seeing the world.

How do I participate?

To take part in the HumanKind process and preserve your perspective, email with “interview request” in the subject line. We will reply within 48 hours to schedule your interview and will work around your schedule.

Your interview will be with Madison Larimore, HumanKind Writer. You can read more about her by visiting the About Us page. Interviews typically take 2-3 hours at the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Criss Library in a private study room. If this timeframe or location does not work for you, indicate that in your email, and we will come up with a plan that works best for you. We are so grateful you are interested and glad you are here.
